Taken during a session with the very talented Helen Diaz. This was one of the first times I used this experimental lighting technique with an overhead softbox; a set up which is usually not recommended for fine art nude work. The image is made by Helen's confident, elegant pose, and her intriguing gaze into the distance above her; inviting viewers to fill in the story behind the image. This latter is an essential part of my creative photography.
