Every year, 8 million metric tons of plastics enter our ocean on top of the estimated 150 million metric tons that currently circulate our marine environments. This project, in collaboration with food Stylist Maria Ilona, seeks to illustrate the beauty of the natural world while highlighting the desperate need for conservation and regulation of the way we use plastic, especially single-use items, in order to transform the role that plastic plays.
