In Kenya, perseverance and community have protected and brought rhinos back. In Southern Africa, despite the efforts, poaching continues to take them away. These two seemed to embody exactly that contradiction—one head raised toward hope, the other bowed under the weight of circumstance; the flies settle, like troubles, without ever leaving.
