When I visit local thrift stores I often find old photos or, in this case, old photography plates. I have wanted to find a way to showcase these men who once posed for a portrait many years ago. I can also imagine how they would appreciate some refreshment. I have also been trying to learn still life skills. Combining all of these wants and longings and imaginings lead to this collaboration between the young men and myself.
