Mohamed Noufal

Country: India 🇮🇳

Mohamed Noufal A.K, originally from a humble village in Kerala, India, was born into a lower-middle-class family. As the only son among three children, he witnessed his father’s struggles as a daily wage laborer. Due to financial difficulties, Mohamed Noufal had to give up his dream of pursuing higher education when his family couldn’t afford the $10 admission fee.
Undeterred, he began working as an assistant at a local photo studio, earning only $6 a month. With sheer determination, he taught himself photography and computer skills. In 2012, he moved to the UAE with the support of a relative—marking the beginning of a life-changing journey.
Starting from a small studio in Sharjah, Mohamed Noufal worked tirelessly, often skipping meals to send money home. A turning point came when he met Abdulla, a local Emirati and photography enthusiast. Mohamed Noufal helped Abdulla with photo editing, and over time, became like a member of the family. Abdulla later sponsored his visa, enabling Mohamed Noufal to explore greater opportunities.
Mohamed Noufal's dedication and skill soon earned him recognition among Arab photographers. His work has been featured on TV channels, in newspapers, websites, and across social media platforms. He is now a professional photographer and Re toucher at the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (Media Department of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah) and serves as a key organizer for major photography events in the UAE, including photo walks, competitions, and workshops. He also plays an active role as an admin of the Kerala Photographers Association in the UAE.
In addition to his professional work, Mohamed Noufal is deeply committed to training school students and various government departments in photography, helping raise visual literacy and media skills among new generations.
