Valeria Isaeva

Country: Greece 🇬🇷

I was born in 1994 in Russia. When I was 11, we moved to Athens, Greece, where I still live today. Both Greek and Russian culture, mythology and fairytales have played an important role in my art.

I graduated from Middlesex University of London with Bachelor of Arts in the field of photography. My college years have helped me to try myself at mixed media, double exposure in film photography and other experimental techniques.

I am currently working as a freelance photographer in collaboration with theaters and big stages such as Greek National Opera, Greek National Theater and others.
I also make conceptual portraits for artists, actors and singers.

My self portraits are mostly about nostalgia, childhood, memories, inner demons and cycles of life.
I find inspiration in nature, abandoned places, Florence & the Machine songs, and in common people stories.
