Country: Russia 🇷🇺
My name is Vitaly Vereskun. I was born in Grodno, Belarus on 07.05. 1981.
In 1984 I moved to Kaluga region, where I live now.
Since 2011 I have been taking pictures.
From 2011 to 2015 I was photographing the Moscow rock underground: concerts, festivals, rock tours.
In 2015, the Rolling Stone magazine published my photos, without attribution.
Since 2016, I switched to staged photography, documentary with the elements of absurd.
In 2019 I started shooting documentary photo projects -storytelling.
Since March 2021, I have been working as a freelance photographer for the Kozelsk regional newspaper. During this time, my works have been published in many Russian newspapers.
At the moment, I’m working on documentary and staged projects. In parallel with this, I was engaged in commercial photography: weddings, commercial reporting, staged photography.
In my opinion, photography is a way of self-expression, an inner search, a way of life.
