Céline is a French photographer currently living in Barcelona. She believes the special light of this city is probably her main trigger when she goes out for a stroll.
She always tries to have her camera with her, and if not, would use her cell phone to capture those shadows and intertwined human movements that mesmerize her.
She realized several long term project such as Quantum, The Straw Conspiracy.
The Straw Conspiracy about single use plastics was exhibited in 2019 in Barcelona’s La Boqueria Market and in 2020 in Rotterdam Chrysalid Art Gallery.
Her latest and still on going project about the mesmerizing interaction between city pigeons and humans was dramatically slowed down by Covid pandemic.
Her street photography was recognized by Lense Culture Street Photography Award, Miami Street Photo Festival, Barcelona International Photo Award, Women In Street (Two Way Street. StreetFoto San Francisco Festival), HeadOn Photo Festival (Double Trouble : Exposing Women In Street by Unexposed Collective and Women in Street), Women Street Photographers, Street Sans Frontieres, EyeShot Magazine, La Calle Es Nuestra, el Diari Ara, Papiers Magazine.

The same global event that deprived her from walking relentlessly the streets chasing hands and feathers had her rethink her photography and re direct her camera towards food.
Gastronomy photography opened a wide, new , exciting, challenging domain to explore, with its dramatic, and until then unknown to her, technicality. With new born KUI Studio (IG @kui_studio_photo ) she is determined to create and offer funny, yummy, meaningful visual content to local, sustainable, gourmet products’ businesses.
She admits that photography almost equals to meditation: “When looking through the viewfinder, comes the silence, and the choreography of light. Shadows and colors takes over”. As a result she feels her photography is sitting and shifting between street photography, documentary photography and fine art photography.
