Hello my name is Nancy and I’m a Portrait photographer living in Melbourne Australia.
I am a Grand Master of Portrait photography with Master Photographers International MPI Canada, Master of ICON/WPPI in the USA, Associate member of the AIPP and NZIPP, Associate member of The Society of Photographers in the UK, Associate member of The Portrait Masters and WPE. My most recent achievement was being
part of Team Australia for the World Photographic Cup 2023, Top 10 Finalist, placing fifth overall.
While studying at the Victorian College of the Arts in the 1970’s as a ballet dancer, we were encouraged to discover as many different areas of the Arts as we could. I was handed an old Pentax SLR camera, I then developed a passion for photography in my early teens, starting with 35mm film and makeshift darkrooms. Having
studied art, theatre, film and a little in the TV industry, photography was a new canvas and passion that has rekindled now in my later
years. Drawing on a life time of artistic mediums greatly influences the pieces I create. The use of props and costumes plays a huge part
in giving a theatrical look to my images and for me they are like little whimsical snippets in time.
