Jairo Alvarez (b. 1990, Puan, Argentina) is a photographer and visual artist currently residing in Copenhagen, Denmark. In his work, he experiments with various materials and techniques, crafting images where the everyday intertwines with the oneiric and the rational with the irrational, convinced that there are as many realities as there are interpreters.
Alvarez has received numerous awards, including First Prize in the 'Conceptual' category of the Siena Creative Awards 2021 and First Prize in the Albero Andronico Award 2017 in the 'Foreign Authors' category, among others.
