Yousif Albadi , a Documentary Photographer based in Abu Dhabi , a Visual Storyteller who is mainly in love with
Street-Life Photography, and is open to any medium or approach that can contain his visual observations and
tell a story, as a Contemporary photographer, he always challenges himself to use new techniques and recent
developments to present new perspectives on traditional subjects and compositions.
His Long-term -format compositions capture the human’s relationship with nature, cities, light, and shadows.
with simplicity, that opens the door to self-interpretation and emotional connection.
His career as a Medical doctor significantly shaped his practice and approach to art, as both fields rely on keen senses and meticulous observation.
He started his visual experiments since 2009 as a self-taught Photographer and participated in many exhibitions
locally, regionally, and internationally, and has been the recipient of numerous awards, academically he is a participant
in the Filmmaking & Cinematography Program 2017/18 at Sharjah Art Foundation.
