Hello
My name is Paul Reidy, I'm a part time photographer with a passion for portraiture and photographic competitions. My day to day job is working for a medical company which produces materials used in Neurovascular Surgeries around the world.
I'm 55 years old with 2 grown up children and a partner, When were not working we like to travel and see as many places of interest around the world. We are the type of people that enjoy the history and cultural aspects of places that we visit.
Photography wise I did venture into full time photography a number of years ago working for a local newspaper covering all aspects of news and sport. In 2003 I was lucky enough to win the Best Overall Sports Award. With children growing up I moved away from photography for a number of years, but missed the enjoyment and buzz that you get from seeing images. So in 2013 I joined Blarney Photography Club in my home town and after building up my skill set in digital photography again I started entering competitions both local and International, in 2017 I won Irish Photographer of the Year.
