Inessa Yurovskikh

Inessa Yurovskikh is a professional photographer based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with more than 15 years of experience in photography. She works across reportage, lifestyle family and children’s photography, portraiture, street photography, and black-and-white photography.
Her work has received international recognition, earning 45 awards in international photography competitions, including the FIAP Gold Medal and the PSA Gold Medal. In 2025 she became the winner of the Russian Photo Awards in the “Emotions” category and was also named “Photographer of the Year 2025” in the Professional category by the People Awards.
Her photographs have been exhibited internationally and published in photography magazines and exhibition catalogues. She has participated in international competitions and exhibitions across 35 countries worldwide, where her work has received awards and recognition.
Inessa holds the international photographic distinction Campion IAAP and serves as the IAAP Ambassador in Kazakhstan. She is also a member of FIAP, IAAP, and PSA, actively participating in the international photography community.
In 2025 she served as a member of the international jury of the Wiki Loves Earth competition, one of the largest photography contests in the world.
In her work, Inessa is particularly interested in sincere human emotions and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Through portraiture and documentary observation, she seeks to capture authentic moments that reveal the emotional connection between people and their environment.
