Wiktor Franko is a photographer who has been working in both fine art and commercial photography for over a decade. He is the author of numerous publications and exhibitions. His work has appeared in Polish and international photography, fashion, and lifestyle magazines, including Label Magazine, Foto, Italy’s Fashion World Magazine, the UK-based Oppa Magazine, France’s Cleptafire, Iceland’s Reykjavik Boulevard Magazine, the American Papercut Magazine, and China’s Prime Magazine.
He has also collaborated with magazines such as Charaktery and Art and Business, producing numerous cover shoots and editorial projects.
Franko’s work has been presented in both solo and group exhibitions in cities including London, Paris, Berlin, and Warsaw. His photography has received recognition in various international photography competitions, including two Grand Prix awards at the Viva Photo Awards, as well as distinctions in the Profoto Contest 2026 and Independent Photographer competitions.
Since 2018, he has been a Fujifilm ambassador, creating photographic projects using Fuji cameras and leading photography workshops focused on portrait photography and visual storytelling.
Currently, he works primarily with musicians, creating album covers and promotional photo sessions in collaboration with leading music labels.
In 2018, Franko published his first photo book, Vol.1, featuring a retrospective selection of works from the previous ten years of his photography career. The book was published by the DIFA Foundation. He is currently working on his next publication.
His photography ranges from classic black-and-white portraiture and lifestyle series to surreal, conceptual works. Passionate about traditional photographic techniques, he works with Polaroid film as well as a variety of analog cameras.
The key elements of his photography are atmosphere, mood, surprise, humor, and authenticity. In his work, he often introduces an unexpected element that disrupts reality and transforms it into something more surreal.
He lives and works in Warsaw, Poland.
