Asaf Friedman is an Israeli photographer and educator, 43 years old, married and a father of two. His documentary work focuses on faith, ritual, and everyday human moments. In recent years, he has been working on a long-term project exploring religion and belief in Israel, documenting prayer and ritual within Judaism, Christianity, and Islam through a respectful, non-judgmental lens. His work seeks to slow down the gaze and present photography as an act of presence and listening.
