I am an amateur Landscape photographer based in the UK. I have been serious about landscape photography for the last few year's and the hobby has become a healthy obsession. My interest in landscape really kick started during a trip to Cambodia where I fell in love with this genre of photography whilst capturing images for local charities. I have always had a camera in hand thanks to my father’s encouragement which is really what has gifted me this hobby. I love all forms of photography and have targeted an improvement in people and macro genre's for 2021. I have explored Patagonia amongst more closer to home locations and have a long list of landscape locations to visit including the Dolomites, Scotland and Eastern Europe. It's an absolute passion and the one thing in life that even when exhausted I have time for. My favourite locations to photograph are Shropshire and North Wales although I could quite happily live in Patagonia. I have been considered in a few competitions over the last year including: -IPA 1st place - fine art landscapes 2020, ILPOTY 2020 - too 101, British Photography Awards 2020/2021 shortlist (Pets, landscape), 2020 Finalist - Siena International, International Garden Photographer of the year - 3rd Place (Wildflower Landscapes), 2021 3rd -trees, RHS 2020 Competition 3rd Place (All about plants), Honorable mentions in the ND, Chromatic and IPA Awards.
My kit bag has too much in but at high level I use a Nikon D850, Nikon 70-200mm F4 lens, Tamron 24-70mm f2.8, Tamron 17-35mm f2.8 and Nikon 85mm f1.4. I use Lee Filters, a 3 Legged Thing Tripod, Lowepro bags and Hoya UV filters.
